Every Gembrook player was commended for trying his hardest in the atrocious weather. The Brookers bonded together with great shepherding and team skills in a big win.

After a slow start the Brookers got their act together and great games were played by Callum Thoms, Dean McNamara and Marcus Cooper (his first game for the year). The early lead of Belgrave proved too much, but Gembrook went down fighting.

Gembrook had a good team win under wet and difficult conditions but there was still room for improvement. Jake Mawson in his 50th game made a great contribution.

In wet boggy conditions, on a freezing Sunday morning, the Brookers came up against a good Upwey team. After a slow start the Brookers got themselves into the game but poor conversion meant points rather than goals.
