Field days a boon for farms

FARMERS will gather in Lang Lang this week to learn the latest about life on the land, and help raise funds for a new community retirement village.
Small Farming Victoria is a twoday field event to be held on 5 and 6 May at Lang Lang showgrounds. The event is proudly sponsored by the Star News Group, publisher of the Gazette. Small farmers can find out more about onfarm improvement, education, nutrition, animal husbandry and business management, and enjoy plenty of entertainment.
The field days are being run by the Rotary Club of Kooweerup – Lang Lang to fund the first stage of a community retirement village.
