FRIENDS and relatives were at the Villa Maria Aged Care Residence in Berwick for a family fun day on Friday, 22 September.
They shared a day of sunshine and happiness with their loved ones.
Animals and reptiles were a highlight of the day and created tremendous interest for residents and visitors.
Centre manager Tania Surgeoner said residents loved the day.
“Barnyard Buddies and Roaming Reptiles are always a big hit with the residents.
“Interaction with animals is very therapeutic and many of our residents miss the daily contact that they once had with their own pets.
“The mobile farm and our reptilian friends give them the chance to interact with soft and fluffy animals and some of the not so, soft and fluffy animals,” she said.
The home has 60 tenants.
