Nyora puts out Lions

IN B grade Pakenham collapsed for 34 before the Nyora bowlers and conceded first-innings points.

B GRADE

Nyora showed dominance over Pakenham, which lost all 10 wickets for 34 in 24 overs.
Matt Hutchinson finished with 4/16, Nick Fairbank 2/7 and Brendan Robertson 2/2.
Nyora batted and passed Pakenham’s score in the 12th over.
Brendan England top-scored with 42 and Mark Pearse remained 17 not out when Nyora declared at 6/99 and had Pakenham 3/27 in the second innings at stumps.

D GRADE

Nyora bowled first and Beaconsfield made 196 after the Beaconsfield opening partnership was broken at 125.
Nyora fought back due to a great bowling stint by Peter Jensen, who finished the day with 7/38 off 18 overs. Billy Hessells gave great support with 2/65.

F GRADE

Against Upper Beaconsfield (129), Billy Hayes (2/15) and Luke Tagliaferro (2/18) bowled well.
When Nyora batted Rob Gill top-scored with 55 retired, Chris Simmons gave great support with 53 retired and Tagliaferro made 27.

UNDER 16

Kooweerup 7/178 and 3/57 d Nyora 42 and 45.
Jake Hackett top-scored with 11 and Aaron Cockram made nine.

UNDER 12

To Nyora’s 86, Pakenham replied with 107.
Jade Ellams claimed the first wicket, caught Robert Delany. Jay Breen took a catch and featured in a run out and Jack Strybosch, Nathan Samuel and Jeremy Fairbank also took catches. Tom Cahill and Christian Samual took wickets.
