POLICE will be checking storage facilities for all people who have firearms.
Cardinia Inspector Chris Norton said over the next couple of month’s police would contact owners of firearms and an undertake inspection of their storage facilities. Inspector Norton said it was critical the firearms be stored securely and the ammunition was stored separately away from the firearm.
