IT was a good day for Berwick Bowls Club in RVBA pennant, round six on Saturday with most sides winning.

LADIES

The seventh round of the VLBA pennant draw was postponed to last Tuesday because of Cup Day.
Tuesday, 9 November was ladies friendship day where each member invited a friend from another club to take part.
The spider was won by Wendy Connaughton from Mornington Club.
The ditchtoditch was won by Shirley Venville from Cranbourne Club. Winner of the day was Betty Brown and team with 11 shots up.
Runnerup was Joy Paulsen and team with eight shots up.
Winner of the losers was Shirley Butler and team with 15 shots up.
Runnerup of the losers was Margot Barry and team with 12 shots up.
The day was a great success and was run very professionally by bowls secretary Wendy West.
