SHOPS in Bunyip, including the town’s fire station, community centre and opportunity shop, were burgled during a spate of thefts over the weekend.
Police said at least half a dozen businesses were broken into. Small amounts of cash were taken from some of the shops targeted in the spree.
Detective sergeant Phil Jury said police were investigating the breakins and were seeking a man believed to be aged in his 40s to help with their inquiries.
