AWARD winning blues singer Fiona Boyes will feature at the next Badfolk concert to be held at the Old Cheese Factory, Homestead Road, Berwick on Friday 21 April.
Boyes is an established recording artist.
On Christmas Eve she signed an international recording contract with the Memphis label Yellow Dog Records.
Blues Hall of Fame legend Pinetop Perkins called her “the best gal guitar player I’ve heard since Memphis Minnie”.
Club member Leigh Sloggett will also perform original bluesleaning acoustic music, infused with folk/roots and rock influences.
His debut CD “Sliding to Your Destiny” introduces patrons to a contemplative lyricist and an accomplished musician.
The doors open at 7.30pm. Admission is $15 for singles and $25 for families.
