PASSENGERS at Pakenham and Berwick train stations should feel safer after the State Government announced plans to improve security lighting.
Weak yellow lighting will be upgraded to brighter white lighting at the two local stations.
Public Transport Minister Lynne Kosky said the white light would also make it easier for train drivers approaching the stations at night times.
