A MAN was stabbed in a Pakenham home at the weekend after an altercation with another man.
The Noble Park man, 38, was taken to hospital after he was stabbed in the stomach at 12.43am on Sunday.
Police said a Pakenham man, armed with two knives, had confronted the other man in a domestic dispute at the Henry Street house. The victim underwent surgery at Dandenong Hospital on Sunday and this week was in hospital in a stable condition.
Dandenong CIU was investigating the incident and had spoken to witnesses.
A Pakenham man, aged 44, has been charged with attempted murder. The man was remanded in custody and is to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
