Nyora defends massive total

DEFENDING a huge total of 455, Nyora’s Bgrade team started well with Kelvin Toogood taking the first wicket with his first ball of the day.
He finished with 2/43 off 14 overs.
Adam Tagliaferro took 5/37 off 13 overs while Nick Fairbank, Matt Hendry and Paul Hendry each took a wicket.
In the field, Brenten Hackett took three catches, while James Watts, Brendan Hayes and Adam Tagliaferro also held onto important catches to dismiss Pakenham UpperToomuc for 194.

D GRADE

After making 307 in the first week and having Pakenham at 1/16, Nyora took to the field full of confidence.
Billy Hayes continued his fine form, taking 6/45 off 18 overs.
Ryan MacIntosh took 2/20 off 16 overs, and Jacob Bohmer 1/25 of 6.
Craig Leigh (0/29 off 17) and Andrew Cavigan (0/24 off 10) bowled economically.
Luke Tagliaferro was involved in a runout and sub Aiden Cummberland took three catches, one a blinder.
Andrew Cavagan also took a catch.
Pakenham fell well short, all out for 196.
