PAKENHAM Hills Primary School is holding a school production tonight and tomorrow night at the Cardinia Cultural Centre.
More than 150 grade two, four and six students are involved in the production, which has been called Rock Around the World.
The story is based around several children travelling around the world to collect memorable moments for their sick grandmother, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
The school has spent four months and plenty of money producing the event and performing arts teacher Sherie White is immensely proud of her pupils.
“It’s pretty exciting but it’s also a bit of a relief!” Ms White said.
“A lot of the students were convinced that they couldn’t learn all the dance routines in time but they’ve done really well. I’m very proud.”
