ROAD safety will be emphasised to local children by Pakenham police.
An education package will be delivered to primary schools by Cardinia district police youth resource officers.
Councillor Brett Owen won Cardinia Shire Council’s support for a $500 contribution to the program from his Central Ward funds.
Cr Owen, a police officer based at Cranbourne with a similar role, said the funds would help pay for prizes for competitions.
