HOMICIDE squad detectives have charged a 35yearold Berwick woman with one count of murder.
The charge followed a stabbing at a Berwick residence on Saturday night in which a man died.
Police said the incident occurred about 11.30pm while a man and a woman were in their Florence Avenue house along with an infant girl.
Richele Edwards was remanded in custody and was to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
The 44yearold man died at the scene.
