TEMPLE Day will be one of Thanksgiving celebrations on 20 November at all services, 9am, 11am and 6pm.
Fathers and sons, 70 in all, enjoyed a great camping experience last weekend at Woorabinda in Yallourn North. Craft Group meets today Wednesday 16 November from 12.30 to 3.00pm to make Christmas decorations or complete other projects. Phone Helen on 9702 2667.
Southern Cross Kids Camp and Destiny Youth will benefit from an afternoon tea and auction at the Cuckoo Restaurant on Sunday, 20 November at 3.30 to 5.30pm. Adults $25 and children $13.50.
Berwick Big Boys Toys is on again on Saturday, 26 November at the church from 10am to 4pm. A gold coin entry fee with children under 12 free. Hotrods, boat, helicopter, fishing, trucks, tractor pull and much more will be on display.
Also on Saturday, 26 November at the church and beginning at 5.30pm, Casey City Church presents Out of Africa with Guy Sebastian. Guy will lead worship and share his experiences of a recent World Vision trip to Africa.
United Youth program on Friday, 18 November is Youth Alive, Mad-Az! Drop off and pick up point is the “Shed” skate park in Cranbourne. Bring boards, blades or bikes. Times are 6pm to 10pm and cost is $10.
Camp Quest End of Year youth camp takes place from Friday, 9 December to Sunday, 11 December. See a youth leader or the church office for bookings.
Little Drummer Boy will be presented by the Children’s Ministry on Sunday, 11 December at 6pm.
Holiday Adventures, a big week of children’s activities, is planned for 16 to 20, January 2006. To be part of the team needed contact Kerry Greenwood.
