SCHOOL children are helping to stock the cupboards of needy families.
Nar Nar Goon Primary School students recently delivered hundreds of tins of spaghetti, soup, baby food, tuna and vegetables and other produce to the 4Cs (Cardinia Combined Churches Caring) Food Bank.
Food bank coordinator Jeni Mathieson said the donations were gratefully accepted.
The cans donated to the 4Cs will be distributed to families from around Cardinia Shire who are struggling to make ends meet.
Nar Nar Goon can drive organiser Shereen Athanasios said children brought almost 400 cans to help the charity effort — about two tins for every student at the school.
