KINDERGARTENS from across the shire are celebrating after the announcement of their successful submission for funding to assist their new management structure.
Minister for Children Sherryl Garbutt officially announced the funding for the new cluster management team at the Bunyip Kindergarten last Tuesday.
Nar Nar Goon, Bunyip, Lang Lang and Longwarry Kindergartens have come together to form a cluster to manage their affairs as a team, therefore alleviating the pressure on volunteer mums and teachers.
This is the first of its kind for the shire and should prove a positive change in operations.
The funding will go towards management of the new kindergarten cluster team.

Children services coordinator Vicki Reid was extremely happy to see the group’s efforts rewarded.
“The contribution of the shire’s volunteers in the early years of our children is vital to their overall development,” she said.
“This funding will be extremely valuable in the important operation of this new type of management.”
