BEACONSFIELD has taken three good wins into the midseason cricket break with A and B grade knocking off more fancied opponents and D grade securing a solid win.

After amassing 387 for the loss of five wickets in the first week, Beaconsfield bowled and fielded well to dismiss Officer for 181.
The standout with the ball was assistant coach Jason Dodd with 7/79 from 25.1 overs.
Gus Patti bowled well with the new ball to capture 2/38 from 9 overs, while Ryan O’Connor took the remaining wicket for 22 runs off 11 overs.

In what was poised as very close game after Upper Beaconsfield reached 9/212 on day one, Beaconsfield snuck home with a win and finished at 8/217.
Kris Fletcher batted well for 82 and was well supported by Matt Ravenhall (31), Geoff Bliss (26 not out), Troy McDermott (22) and Steve Glen (17).
After being 4/49 early in the day, this was a good win for Beaconsfield to take into Christmas.

Beaconsfield was set the challenge of chasing 237 set by Gembrook and finished just short to be all out for 216 late on day two.
Bradman Pitcher was resolute with the bat to reach 40 and set up a good base.
Jamie Ingham was similarly dogged with 35. Dave Lennon (46) and Craig Douglas (29) were the other main contributors.

Defending 190, Beaconsfield bowled and fielded well to dismiss Nar Nar GoonMaryknoll for 158.
Best with the ball were opening bowlers Jayden Mack with 4/48 from 19 overs and Greg Butler with 3/31 from 15.1 overs.
John Scales captured two handy wickets with 2/33 and David Green bowled economically with 1/9 from 10 overs.

Beaconsfield was overpowered by a strong Gembrook side to be beaten outright.
Making just 77 in the first innings, Beaconsfield toiled hard with the ball against a strong Gembrook batting lineup which reached 8/236.
Chris Cherry and Ben Martin both took two wickets to lead the bowling charge.
Steve Curtis, John Martin, Jade Osborne and Dave Bruneau all chipped in with one wicket each.
Having a second hit, Beaconsfield stumbled to be all out for 66. Russell Vincent top scored with 17, Steve Murphy reached 14, Ben Martin 10 and Brent Colling 15.
