St Patrick’s Parish

THE Parish Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday, 11 November 2005. All parish groups prepared a report of their activities for the year.
These reports will be published over the coming weeks. St. Patrick’s Support Group is the first of these reports.
St Patrick’s Support Group is a group of parishioners who have volunteered their services should the need arise and a family/person needs a casserole, some child minding or light housework.
The need may arise for many reasons such as sickness, bereavement or hospitalisation of a family member. We have a very lengthy list of volunteers, however we would welcome new names to the list.
People wishing to sing at this year’s Christmas Carols at Lakeside are invited to attend practice each Friday night 8pm, at St James Church, Pakenham Road, Pakenham.
St Francis Xavier annual presentation night will be held on Tuesday, 29 November, at Robert Blackwood Hall, Monash University, Clayton. All past students and parents are cordially invited to attend. For tickets please contact Mrs Rankins on 9707 3111.
Volunteers are still required to assist with the watering of the 4C’s vegetable garden located at the back of the Presbytery.
You will be required to water for one hour on the day of your choice. For more information please contact Theo or Cathy, or phone 5941 1217.
St Patrick’s Bingo is held every Wednesday at Pakenham Racecourse. Eyes down at 8pm.
Deepest sympathy is extended to the families of Jim Goodie and Michael Kay, who passed away recently.
