THE second Shannons Charity Motor Show at Cardinia Cultural Centre on Sunday was a huge event with about 300 rare, classic and customised cars and bikes taking part.
Sponsored by auto event promoter Shannons, the event welcomed all makes and models to compete for the coveted Shannons trophies in categories including Best in Show, People’s Choice, Best Bike, Best Rod, Best European, Best Japanese, Best Holden and Best Ford.
The show was a nonprofit event with all proceeds and gate fees going directly to the Cardinia Foundation which supports local charities such as Windermere and Outlook.
Coordinator Jeannette Langan thanked the many enthusiasts who shared their cars and bikes with the public on the day.
“We had some incredible vehicles ranging from 1930s classics, to handbuilt hot rods and bikes, to the latest Ferraris,” she said.
“There was definitely something for every taste.”
“Thanks also to the hundreds of visitors who came through the gates on the day to help make the show such a great success.”
The Cardinia Foundation thanked sponsors Shannons, Khan’s Catering, Delfin, FRH Group and Pakart.
All revved up at motor show
