CORA LYNN Netball Club’s Agrade team played a strong game against top team Poowong and although fighting hard, went down by seven goals on Saturday.
Both teams played a tight strong game with Cora Lynn winning the third quarter.

B GRADE
Cora Lynn started off well, but unfortunately lost its centre Andy Payne.
The team fought hard and after an excellent third quarter ran out of legs in the last.

C GRADE
Cora Lynn started well, but after a tight first quarter Poowong drew away with accurate goaling.

D GRADE
Cora Lynn came up against tough opposition in Poowong on Saturday.
The girls displayed impressive play down the court, but Poowong proved too strong on the day.

E GRADE
Cora Lynn played an excellent team game and in a top third quarter scored eight goals to nil.

F GRADE
Cora Lynn used the court well and made some great leads for the ball. There were some brilliant passages of play throughout the game, but the team was beaten by a stronger side on the day.

CLUB NOTES
The cocktail night last week was attended by all the netballers and was a great success.
