THE OLD Cheese Factory in Berwick was ransacked last Friday following an early morning breakin.
Police said the thief threw a brick through a window to gain entry to the administration building shortly after 2am.
This followed unsuccessful attempts to jemmy open a door.
A scanner worth $300 was the only item stolen, but the thief still upturned the administration office.
A video surveillance camera captured a man leaving the factory.
Police believe he was wearing white gloves, a white hooded top and grey Adidas pants. He had brown hair with blonde tips and was carrying a dark backpack.
