Par perfect at Beaconhills

IT was a day of top scoring in the Par competition at Beaconhills Country Golf Club on Saturday.
On the Lakes course, 122 players teed off with Jim Parker winning Agrade with plus four.
Michael Buck returned the best score of the day to win Bgrade with plus six and Graeme Inglefinger won Cgrade with plus four.
On the Old course Graeme Coates won the competition with plus four.
In the ninehole junior competition Matt Willemsen was the winner with a score of nett 36.

SUNDAY RESULTS

An Ambrose event was played on the Lakes course with the team of Brad Mars, John Angwin, Andy Biddle and Matthew Mytton combining well to win the day with nett 53 7/8.
There were 19 ladies who enjoyed Christmas in July with a hearty roast meal in front of the fire in the clubhouse after their Ambrose round.

TUESDAY RESULTS

Brendan Drew won the Par event on the Lakes course with plusseven.

WEDNESDAY RESULTS

Jean Wheatley was the winner of the ladies Par competition with plusone.
The propin winners were Marilyn Ford in A grade and Jean Wheatley in B grade.
Nearestthepin winner was Heather Hamilton on the 18th.

THURSDAY RESULTS

There were 60 players who competed in the Stableford competition on the Lakes course that was won by Greg Taylor in A grade with 37 points on a countback.
Michael Verbi was the Bgrade winner with 41 points.
