Ride starts conference

ROTARIANS from District 9820 raised $75,000 for charity from their annual sixday 600kilometre bike Ride to Conference.
The ride with mascot Harold started in the far reaches of the district.
This year 65 riders from nearly half the district’s clubs wound their way around the district and then on to Geelong to join the District 9820 conference on the weekend of 25 and 26 February.
Rotary Club of Narre Warren member and district governor Ray Stewart hosted the conference, which attracted nearly 1000 participants.
Clubs from Narre Warren, Berwick, Endeavour Hills, Cranbourne, Kooweerup Lang Lang and as far afield as Phillip Island and Bairnsdale were represented.
