THE Gippsland Storm Netball Club started the State Netball League season in impressive fashion, winning both the divisionone and divisiontwo matches.
The division one side played Ballarat Pride and after a slow start managed to gain momentum in the second half.
The Storm outscored the Pride by 14 goals in the second half and recorded a 12goal victory.
The Storm converted 89 per cent of attempts on goal, an impressive statistic considering it was the first game of the season.
The divisiontwo side comfortably beat DC Force.
