A MAN was caught in a stolen car in Pakenham on Saturday while another escaped.
Police said they intercepted two men a stolen car on Meeking Drive at 4.20am, but one fled the scene.
A car had been stolen from Army Road, Pakenham earlier that morning.
A Pakenham man, 18, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and use and possession of a drug of dependence.
He is due to appear before court at a later date.
Police are yet to question a second man.
