PAKENHAM couple Brad and Natasha Murray have had one excitement after another.
Having recently been married, the couple now has a baby on the way.
They were married in an intimate ceremony in Nar Nar Goon on 3 September.
Natasha, 24, said she was now four months’ pregnant and was looking forward to having the baby next year.
The couple married at St John’s Anglican Church in Nar Nar Goon, with the reception held at St Michael’s in Berwick.
Natasha said the wedding ceremony and reception went “really well”, and that she and Brad, 29, and their 60 guests had a great time.
“It was a beautiful day,” she said.
“We had the best time.”
She said they had decided to invite just close friends and family to the wedding.
“It was the perfect amount of people for us,” Natasha said.
“It gave us enough time to spend time with everyone.”
Natasha said she had had a cold leading up to the wedding but as soon as they got to Port Douglas, where they spent their honeymoon, it had cleared up.
“(The cold) cleared up straight away, but as soon as I got back it came back.”
Brad and Natasha had lived together for four years, and were engaged for three before they got married.
Natasha said she had known Brad since she was 17.
Natasha, who works at a hairdressing salon and at clothing store Bonny and Clyde’s in Pakenham, and Brad, a truck driver, plan to buy a house in Pakenham at the end of next year.
