NED Kelly and Marilyn Monroe appeared in the flesh on Saturday.
The famous bushranger and iconic Hollywood starlet were just some of the colourful characters inked for posterity on the arms, legs, backs and torsos of contestants at the Pakenham Tattoo and Piercing Show.
‘Show us your tatts’ was the catchcry at the fifth annual event, and contestants did not need to be told twice.
Hundreds of people from the local area, around Victoria and interstate enjoyed a host of entertainment and activities at the show.
Organiser and local tattoo artist Rob Stanway said the event was getting bigger every year and earning a reputation as one of the shows of its kind in the state.
Trophies and prizemoney were up for grabs for artists and contestants in up to 15 categories.
A heavy downpour of rain failed to dampen enthusiasm with the crowd admiring the fantastic creativity of some of the country’s leading tattoo artist.
There was food and refreshments, stalls, live bands, raffles and much more.
