FOR the residents of the western end of Baw Baw Shire, including Longwarry and Labertouche, I would like to inform you as a candidate in the council elections I have had previous experience as a councillor in Bairnsdale before settling here seven years ago.
I would like to see this end of the shire have a stronger voice in council to lobby the Federal Government for a sand road overpass and Melbourne Water for better drainage in Longwarry township.
I believe if I win the Longwarry Ward, and Dick Van Leeuwen wins a place in the Drouin Ward, we will have a better chance at receiving a fairer deal for our community.
