CARDINIA staggered to 118 against a fiery Officer bowling attack on Saturday
Jamie Glen showed the most resistance against his former club, compiling 51 before being out caughtbehind. He and Adam Hobson (12 not out) put on 47 for the ninth wicket, which was the biggest of the innings.
Ben DaRose managed 17 and Dwayne Doig 10.
Taking the field to defend their total, the Bulls had Officer 3/72 at stumps.
Openers Chris Remy and Adam Hobson bowled very tightly to keep the scoring rate down and were unlucky not to take some wickets. Mark Cooper and Dwayne Doig Both were among the wickets – Cooper 1/24 and Doig 2/25.

Playing Upper Beaconsfield at home, the Bulls won the toss and elected to bat.
In their eventual total of 158, Daniel Strahan carried his bat – opening the innings to remain unbeaten on 74 after 66 overs when the side was dismissed.
Dylan Mitchell again batted for more than 18 overs and supported Strahan in a 30run partnership as he continues to show an exceptional amount of experience.
Yohan LaBrooy made 22 in his comeback match and the game is in the balance with either side capable of winning.

Playing Tooradin at Rythdale, Cardinia enjoyed an excellent day of cricket that was played in good spirit.
Gareth Andrews opened the innings for the Seagulls and batted superbly for 67. The Bulls bowled a tight line for the majority of the day and bowled Tooradin out for 204.
Nathaniel Wade bowled with plenty of pace and took 1/34, new player Mitch Abbott took 3/23. Darren Aurisch took 1/32 and James Daly 1/31.
Highlight of the day was young Evan Webster, who besieged to Tooradin middle order and took 3/46 in a very good spell of mediumpace bowling.
In reply, Cardinia is 2/22 from seven overs. Peter Wilson is unbeaten on 10 and Argoon is at the crease with a single to his name.

Chris Lemmon was back in form scoring a fine 62 and was well supported by Jeff Bailey (28) and Matt Ryan who put on 52 with Lemmon for the fifth wicket.
Brad Snooks made 20 as well as Gary Glen a patient 12 and Brad Remy an explosive 11.
In reply Tooradin is 1/59. Wayne Snooks was the wickettaker with 1/27.

Playing KilcundaBass at home, the young Bulls batted well to make 6/174.
Ricky Campbell blasted the bowlers to all corners for 42 and Dylan Mitchell made an excellent 35. Tom Bennett continues to improve each week and finished with 25. Phil Strahan made a delicate 15 and Evan Webster 22 not out.

Opening Bowler Travis Welsh decimated the Merinda Park White side with 4/14 from a lethal spell of leftarm bowling.
The 4/14 included four wickets in seven balls that also included a hattrick.
Travis Kitchin bowled well for 2/17 and the everimproving Chris Wirth took 2/3 from four tight overs. Devlyn TraceShaw and Pat Nolen both took a wicket each as they helped restrict the Cobras to 81.

Playing Pakenham, the youngest Bulls struggled somewhat to make 72.
Unfortunately no batsman made double figures, but everyone did their very best.
Jason Bonney, Nick Cairns and Matt Welsh all got 7 runs, Travis Wheller 6 and Tom Weinzierl and Elijah Wade both got 5 a piece.
