THE traffic disaster in Clyde Road, Berwick between the Monash Freeway and Berwick Village is another example of the Labor Government’s inactivity.
I read in the local papers the City of Casey has recommended this road to the State Government for duplication as its top priority for the past three years.
Maybe Labor members of Parliament don’t travel during the morning school or evening peak periods.
Maybe they’re too busy to notice the desperate situation that we have here.
Maybe they just don’t care, but Mr Bracks did say in 1999 “we care”.
Maybe it’s the inactivity and weak representation of the Labor politicians in this area.
Personally, I would think after all this time Tammy Lobato and Dale Wilson should have some answers for us.
We should all think about the next state election as we sit in the traffic jams on Clyde Road.
