Fun with your son

THE City of Casey will present a mother and son day on Saturday 8 October and a father and son day on Saturday 19 November.
Casey youth and community development manager Janette Green said the events offered an opportunity for mums and dads to spend some time with their sons, whiled experiencing exciting and challenging activities in a day filled with fun.
Activities on the days will include low and high ropes courses, flying fox and fun games.
“The City of Casey recognises that it’s often hard for parents to get quality time with their children,” Ms Green said.
“Both of these days are an excellent chance for mums and dads to not only ‘bond’ with their sons, but also have fun with some physical activity.
“We hope that they take this opportunity to join in.”
Both days will be held at Lyrebird Park, Yellingbo, and will be fully catered for.
Transport is available for a small charge.
