Information session for candidates

RESIDENTS considering standing for council at the Cardinia Shire elections have been urged to attend an information session in Pakenham on 22 September.
The session will be presented by the Municipal Association of Victoria.
MAV president Geoff Lake said it was time for anyone considering running for election to start preparations.
“With less than 10 weeks before nominations close, candidates need to start preparing their campaigns,” he said.
Titled From Citizen to Councillor, the free information session will be held at the council chamber in Henty Way from 7pm.
