RIVER Gum Ward councillor Wayne Smith has told Casey Council that the Cardinia Casey Library service had registered an aboveaverage level of customer satisfaction.
Cr Smith said the library was in good hands and had recently opened a branch at Emerald.
A member of the library board, Cr Smith said the library’s staff did a fantastic job.
“Loans per staff member are well above state average,” he said.
River Gum Ward councillor Janet Halsall said Casey residents were using libraries more and more.
“We open a library and a new group of people join,” she said.
