Lion to bewitch Berwick

WILSON Botanic Park Berwick will host openair movies in the park on Saturday 18 February.
‘The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’ will be screened from sunset.
Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for children and $8 concession.
Wilson Botanic Park provides a beautiful setting for the openair cinema.
The park was developed from a former basalt quarry into a 39hectare scenic and tranquil parkland.
It is named after the Wilson family, who purchased the land in 1854 and owned it until the quarry closed.
Nearly 120 years of quarry operation left the park with spectacular exposed rock formations, three picturesque lakes, and challenging terrain, which provides a beautiful venue for people to get fit or simply relax and take in the views.
More than three kilometres of walking trails meander through native and exotic gardens and lakes, and the lookout tower has spectacular views of Casey and Port Phillip Bay.
Park facilities include a bird hide, amphitheatre, rose garden, lakeside picnic lawn, children’s playground and electric barbecues.
