THE Cardinia Piranhas Swim Club is the new name of the Piranhas Swimming Club of Pakenham, which is soon to move to Pakenham’s new LiFE Aquatic Centre.
The club has decided to change the name in order to embrace the entire shire community. The Piranhas’ logo and colours will remain but the committee plans a club banner, uniforms and new equipment.
In the 200607 season the club transfers its headquarters to the Cardinia LiFE Aquatic Centre from the Bicentennial Heated Pool, which has served over the past nine years.
The Cardinia Piranhas will remain at the Bicentennial Heated Pool on Fridays 67.30pm until 3 July, when they move to the LiFE Aquatic Centre for onehourly sessions on either Mondays (6.307.30pm or 7.308.30pm) or Fridays (67pm or 78pm).
There will be club registration days at the Bicentennial Heated Pool on 5, 7 and 9 June, 6.307.30pm.
