Putting on the style

By Sarah Schwager
STAR Makeover winner Colleen Tancredi was a picture of perfection in her final photo shoot.
Colleen looked thin and fabulous as she posed for the cameras first by herself and then with the rest of her family.
She even managed to fit into her goal dress a strapless black number.
“It was really special,” she said.
“They do your hair and makeup. I was really happy they let the whole family in the photo,” she said.
Colleen said it was the first professional shot of the whole family.
Despite being a regular at Starshots photography, the family only has group photos of her with husband David and son Anthony, other photos of the children Anthony and Rose, and other photos of Colleen when she was pregnant.
“It was good to have my photo done but I can’t put photos of me up all around the house.”
Colleen said she admired the Starshots staff who had to work hard to get Rose to smile as she was feeling sick on the day.
“At first all she wanted to do was put her party dress on. But after two photos she was ready to go home,” she said.
She said both Anthony and Rose were ‘little posers’.
Starshots manager Neil Foster said the team captured the joy of birth, through childhood and adolescence, the path of romance and into maturity to help reflect and celebrate all aspects of life.
“The aim of the Starshots contemporary glamour photography experience is to assist each client to bring out their best in the looks they want to achieve,” Mr Foster said.
“Starshots creates unique images that express individuality and highlight the client’s best features.
“Where with many photography studios it is a quick 15 minute photo session, the complete Starshots experience takes around three hours.”
Mr Foster said about 100 individual images were taken during the photo shoot, which were then narrowed down to a perfect collection of around 50 images for the client to view.
Starshots Glamour Photography is located at Shop 2017, Westfield Fountain Gate and can be contacted on 8790 2577, or for further information visit www.starshots.com.au.
