PRIMARY schools at Upper Beaconsfield and Gembrook have been given State Government approval to plan the next stage of school building projects.
Gembrook MP Tammy Lobato said this meant both school communities could be working towards developing detailed plans for new building works while the initial stage of works progressed.
“These schools, which are so ecstatic about the new rebuilding underway in stage one, are now able to move to the final stage of planning for significant upgrades to their school facilities,” she said.
“With this new approval, the schools will be able to select architects and other professionals to finalise their plans.
“Completion of these plans is expected by November this year.”
