CARDINIA and Casey residents have petitioned the City of Casey to have the last section of Dalmore Road, Tooradin sealed.
Balla Balla Ward councillor Colin Butler presented the petition with 441 signatures to the Tuesday, 20 September council meeting.
Cr Butler asked that the petition be considered in conjunction with an officer report on the road to discussed at the Tuesday 4 October council meeting.
Cr Butler said the petition was representative of people who did business and lived along nearby roads.
“Also, there is a diverse range of people from wider areas who have signed the petition.
“We have about one kilometre of Dalmore Road in the City of Casey that could be unsealed when the rest of the road is sealed through to the Princes Highway, Pakenham.” he said.
