BASS MP Ken Smith has been given the added portfolio of Opposition spokesman for Fishing on top of his existing responsibility for Gaming.
State Opposition leader Robert Doyle also announced last week that Mr Smith had been appointed as the Secretary of the Parliamentary Liberal Party.
Mr Smith said he was pleased to be entrusted with the added responsibility.
“I am delighted to be responsible for another important area, that of Fishing, which takes in both the professional and recreational aspects,” he said.
“As the Liberal Party is currently developing its policy on Fishing in preparation for the November state election, I would be delighted to talk to people who have concerns and would like to see changes made.”
