Speed drivers booked

TWO speedsters, one clocked at more than 70km/h over the speed limit, were booked within 30 minutes of each other in Pakenham on Sunday night.
The first motorist, a 45yearold Pakenham man, was detected travelling at 133km/h in a 60km/h roadwork zone along PakenhamKoo Wee Rup Road about 8.45pm.
Police then caught a 44yearold Nar Nar Goon man at 9.03pm exceeding the speed limit by over 40/kmh in Bald Hill Road, Pakenham.
Police say they are disappointed to see older and more experienced drivers flouting road rules. They added they would continue to focus on enforcing the speed limit around Pakenham’s roadwork zones .currently in Pakenham.
