LATROBE Valley netballers with a disability will compete at the State Netball and Hockey Centre on Saturday against teams from across Victoria.
The LaTrobe Valley team has players from Warragul, Drouin, Heath Hill, Tynong, Kooweerup and Berwick and has been in training for three months.
The team played practice games during the school holidays against the Latrobe Valley 15andunder team that recently was placed third in the state.
A lot of hard work has gone into getting this team ready for this prestigious event.
The coach has been developing hand and eye coordination, ball handling and court play and sees a huge improvement, although the accent is on fun.
The team trains on Friday nights at Bellbird Park Sports Complex in Drouin.
