CASEY Hospital is expected to soon open its 24 hour emergency service.
Health Minister Bronwyn Pike is expected to announce that the hospital’s emergency department will open on a 24-hour basis when she calls at Berwick today (Wednesday 30 November).
Since Casey Hospital opened its doors in October 2004, the department continued to extend its hours, but now has a full complement of staff.
