A COCKATOO boy suffered burns to his face and hands after petrol poured on an ant hill was ignited.
The 11yearold was playing with friends when the incident occurred.
Police said the boys had poured the petrol onto the bullants’ nest and lit it up.
The youngster was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital about 8.30pm on Sunday.
He was yesterday (Tuesday) in a stable condition.
