Pakenham Christian Church

PAKENHAM Christian Church meets every Sunday at the Cardinia Cultural Centre (Dance Floor room) on Lakeside Boulevard 10am.
The Children’s program “Kids In Christ” takes place during the service.
The first Sunday of every month, the church has a special family service. ‘A Zone’ Youth meets every Friday, please ring the office for details (5941 1342).
Kooweerup Christian Church (a church outreach from Pakenham Christian Church) has a midweek meeting every Tuesday, 7.30pm at the Kooweerup Community Centre, Rossiter Road, Kooweerup.
Psalm 103 is a song of King David. David most definitely wrote this psalm in his later years when he looked back and realised what good things God had done in his life.
David greatly understood the forgiveness God can give, he emphasises God’s grace and forgiveness in this Psalm. David immediately blesses and thanks God in verse 1: “Bless the Lord O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name!” If you read it, this psalm will lift you, encourage you and give you hope.
David’s praise focused on God’s glorious deeds. It’s easy to moan and gripe about life, but David’s list gives us plenty for which to praise God – God forgives our sins, heals our diseases, redeems us and gives us everlasting life and crowns us with love and compassion.
All of God’s people have these wonderful things by the grace of God, by His unmerited favour.
In fact God loves you and wants you to invite Him into your life.
Pakenham Christian Church will be meeting at the Kooweerup Community Centre at Rossiter Road on Sunday, 2 October, 10am for this Sunday only (for a special family service).
Pakenham Christian Church will be back at the Cardinia Cultural Centre from Sunday, 9 October, 10am and Sunday mornings at the Cultural Centre thereafter.
