Police kept busy

IT WAS a busy week of arrests for Pakenham police last week.
A Skye woman, 45, was charged last Monday with obtaining property by deception.
She was bailed to appear before Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 5 April.
A 19yearold Pakenham Upper man was charged last Wednesday with theft and bailed to appear before Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 10 April.
On Thursday a 22yearold Pakenham man was charged with burglary and bailed to appear on 11 April.
On Friday a 43yearold man and 32yearold man, both from Pakenham, were charged with possessing a drug of dependence and bailed to appear, also on 11 April.

THIEVES broke into an industrial yard in Pakenham some time last week.
A stereo system valued at $3000 was taken from a boat at the Mary Street business.
Police said the theft happened between 8pm on 26 February and 3.30pm on 4 March.

CAMPING gear was stolen from a garage in Emerald recently.
A tent and folding chair valued at $450 were taken from the unlocked garage at the Ferres Road home.
The theft occurred between 9pm on 25 February and 7.30pm on 27 February.

POLICE have urged people to always keep a watchful eye on their personal belongings after a camera was stolen at Emerald railway station.
A woman, who had been at a gala exhibition on 26 February, left her digital camera on the counter of a display stand but came back three minutes later to find it gone.
The theft happened about 4.15pm.
