POLICE have called for information about a man who robbed two Berwick Surf shops in less than two weeks.
The man entered the SnapperHead surf Shop in High Street, Berwick, at 11.55am on Tuesday 27 December and escaped with cash.
A man with similar description also entered the Bacbeech Surf Shop in Blackburne Square at 2pm on Thursday 5 January and escaped with money.
He fled from the SnapperHead shop along High Street and was last seen running through Kempson Walk.
When he left the Bacbeech shop he was last seen running towards Lyall Road.
The man was described on both occasions as being caucasian, early to mid 20s and of thin build.
He was described as wearing a hooded jacket and sunglasses when he entered the SnapperHead shop and a beanie and false beard when he entered the Bacbeech shop.
Police have asked anyone with information about the offender to contact Senior Constable Topham on 9784 5695 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
