ROC received great support during the year from rival club Hampton Park, which provided the team with players for practice matches in Agrade on Saturday. ROC B and Agrades will play in the finals next week.
BGRADE
ROC went out hard to take control of the game in the first quarter. The defence worked hard and created many turnovers, which were capitalised on.
The team followed up with a strong second quarter, giving them a comfortable lead of 19 goals at halftime. The midcourt and goalers worked well together, resulting in a 35goal win.

CGRADE
A close game saw ROC win by three goals. All players worked hard and adjusted well to Hampton Park’s pressure. After an intense first half, ROC was up by one goal.
ROC seized many intercepts and played a consistent final half of the game, with strength at both ends of the court and chasing down every ball.

UNDER17
After a strong start, ROC attackers led hard to the ball and created many opportunities for the goalers. All players fought hard against a strong opposition and were able to keep focused throughout the game.
The first half saw intense netball with ROC up by two goals. The team applied pressure and kept control of the ball through the second half and the teamwork displayed was outstanding and gave them a 12goal win.

UNDER15
A brilliant team effort saw a 24goal win to ROC. The girls played smart netball and were able to maintain possession throughout the game.
The goalers shot accurately with confidence, and midcourt blew the opposition away. Lauren Mynott received the “Colour Me Happy” award for her game all over the court, while Michelle Raggatt received the Blockbuster award for her many intercepts in defence.

UNDER13
Determination and enthusiasm were features of the game. Midcourt was swift to capitalise on the intercepts created by the defence.
ROC held the lead throughout the game, and ended the season with a bit of fun, trying different positions. The goalers were on target, providing the team with a strong 19goal victory.
