ROCslide buries Doveton

ROC Netball Club’s Bgrade team produced a strong team game to crush Doveton by 52 goals in round five on Saturday. Defensive pressure down the court provided many opportunities in attack with the ball fed well into goals where Jodie Evans and Davia O’Hehir shot with great accuracy.
The midcourt rotated well through defence showing the team to be very versatile.

C GRADE

A good win with all players showing great determination.
The defence played well, creating many turnovers and opportunities for the attack. The centre court moved the ball swiftly, with sharp passes into goals.

UNDER 17

All players worked hard with the reward of a great win. Megan Barling showed excellent drive in centre and the defence circle did a good job and was able to defend the ball from the opposition end.
Elise Macreadie and Carly Louch shot extremely well and Alyse Mason also shot accurately in the last quarter.

UNDER 15

The team started the game well, however failed to maintain momentum. The defence played well, creating many turnovers.

UNDER 13

The defence worked well throughout the game, with the midcourt working hard to drive the ball towards the goal end.
The goalers shot accurately and moved well in the ring.
