A MAN trying to jump start a car with jumper leads leads from another car in Cockatoo last Tuesday had his lower body crushed when one of the vehicles rolled and pinned him.
Police said the incident occurred at 8.20am in Jeanne Street when a Nissan Patrol and a Hyundai were parked on the side of the road. One of the cars accidentally rolled and struck the man trying to get the vehicle started.
The 50yearold Cockatoo resident was transported by ambulance to Dandenong Hospital and treated for extensive leg injuries.
